Notice/Important Updates

IMPORTANT NOTICE for UGAT 2020 (PBT)
In view of the increasing COVID 19 cases nationally and considering the associated health hazards, registrations of Paper Based Test mode (PBT) and Computer Based Test mode (CBT) of UGAT 2020 are discontinued with immediate effect. The decision is taken in the interest of candidates who have opted for these modes.

These candidates are being given the option of converting their registration to "Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT)" mode for which registration is still active. They can opt for this IBT mode by visiting the official UGAT-2020 Registration portal (https://apps.aima.in/UGAT2020) and registering by selecting the available date and test slot. They are advised to change their mode of test latest by 21st June 2020.

Under this uncertainty, candidates are advised to convert their PBT and CBT registration to IBT mode at the earliest, but not later than 21st June 2020.

Candidates are advised to visit official website from time to time for latest updates.

"TAKE 'UGAT' FROM YOUR HOME" - UGAT 2020 as "Remotely Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT)"

As already announced, UGAT 2020 has been rescheduled to alternative date i.e., 02 July 2020 (Thursday) (Paper Based Test). Further, we are introducing "Remotely Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT)" as well on a separate date i.e. 21 June 2020 (Sunday) & 02 July 2020 (Thursday) along with the PBT.

For taking the test in IBT mode, instead of going to a test centre candidates could do so from the safe confines and convenience of their homes subject to certain conditions. Moreover, they should have a computer together with webcam and internet facilities meeting certain specifications. The sanctity and security of the test are effectively maintained through remote proctoring in dual mode i.e., by employing robust Artificial Intelligence (AI) based tools as also human proctors.

In order to help candidates to familiarize themselves with this new mode of testing, AIMA has also scheduled mock MAT-IBT sessions at a nominal extra fees. These mock tests accurately replicate the testing environment and help candidates build familiarity with the same. Thus, these would ensure that the candidates are adequately prepared for the main test.

Hence, candidates now have the option to choose any one or more of the two modes of test i.e., IBT and PBT. Those candidates who have already registered for PBT are also allowed to switch to the IBT mode, if they wish to do so. Interested candidates need to revisit the application portal and change the preferred test mode latest by 15th June 2020. For more details, please click on the link given below:
